Random snippets from a semi-retired punk princess

My life is an open book with the pages half filled. I'd like to think it's a pretty good novel in progress.
Nerd, yes, and a bit of an original if I might add. Gamer girl, fandom geek, avid reader, lover of conversation, tea, and friends.
I'm easy to please and hard to shut up.
If you've been there, chances are I have too; and if I haven't, I know someone who has. I'm from up the road a bit, but I'm hoping that just gives me some insight. I still dream, just not about being a rock star anymore. My stripey socks are staying. My pink hair is still bright against the little wrinkles on my forehead. I'm somewhere in the world between young and old, and I'm appreciating the in-between.
